Would a 540L be big enough to house a stingray?

To start off with, I don't know much about rays or the species. Just wondering would a ray be able to be housed in a 540L tank, That's about 110-120G's over here or would it be to big? I'm near defiantly not going to go through with this (It's just for future reference) since I already have my setup planned out. Thanks

never had a ray but i would think pups should be fine for a little while but rays get pretty wide when full grown about 18" to about 2' so they wouldn't have much room to turn around imo, my 125 is only about 18 inches wide thats cutting it pretty close

Whats the footprint? imo a hystrix or male retic might be fine if the footprint is decent.

Footprint will be to small IMO not wide enough, with the low volume of water you'd need some kick ass filtration to keep the water top notch quality.

Yeah, Just read a minute ago that rays can get sick and die over the smallest little problem in the water :)
