Having a black arowana with a silver

What's up guys I'm really thinking about picking up a black arowana but I already have a silver one I'm a little bit concerned of them two not getting a long or the black one might get eaten so I might pick it up as a baby 3-5 inches for 45 bucks so should I go through with it and keep the black one in a grow out tank or what? Suggestions please!

My main tank is about 145 me and my cousin both have 145 gall tanks and I was thinking about keeping it in his 55 gallon extra tank to let it grow some more
