I'm getting a 120g tank on Tuesday and it's hard to chose what freshwater fish to put into it, It's doing my head in. I would LOVE to do saltwater but people say it's too expensive, How much would live rock for a 120g tank cost? About 150 euro?

The rule of thumb is about a pound of LR per gallon so you're looking at 100+lbs of rock which will be very expensive. If you want to do saltwater you'll be better off buying your rock about 10-20% live and 80-90% dead and just seeding it yourself. It will take a bit longer to establish but unless you have money burning holes in your pockets it's the cheaper way to go.

Am I the only one who caught this? Why are we putting saltwater LR in a freshwater aquarium? Won't it kill everything on it?

I'd buy 100lbs of dry rock (approx $200-$250 USD) and another 10-20lbs of live rock ($50-$150 USD) for a 120

x2.

You could get away with even less live rock & more dry rock if you're fine with waiting a little longer for it to look pretty; the beneficial bacteria colonies form much faster than the coralline algae will.
