I just got a new tank, 70g's to be exact and I'm wondering do I need to add some of the PH powder to the tank when I put the water in tomorrow? I'm going to put the water in and add stress coat then when I add the fish I'm going to add the quick start/Instant bacterial. My question is, do I add the PH powder to the tank when I put the water in or do I just leave the PH powder with the stress coat and just add the stress coat?

I wouldn't use it at all. It is better to acclimate your fish to the water rather that adjust the water to the fish.

I agree. My personal opinion is that pH additives are only for emergencies. If your tank parameters are stable you should be able to keep your tank at a pH that works for all of your fish once they are acclimated.

What is the GH of the water you will be using in your tank?
