Can I comm Cross River Puffer with Arowana & Stingray

Hi, need expert advice.

Can I comm my Cross River Puffer (size 10") with Arowana (Size : 16") and Stingrays - 4 pcs (sizes from 8" to 16") ?

My Arowana is very tame and does not attack any tankmate. Anyone have try such comm?

Tank size : 6ft x 3ft x 2.5ft with sump size : 5ft x 2ft x 2ft (full of media) and additional FX5 Pond filter, Laguna Pond filter and Ehiem 2260.

Not sure on the Arowana but I can see it being disastrous for the stingrays.

By cross river puffer you mean a fahaka correct? If so I could see a lot of dead fish in your future.

I think this guy asked the same question on the puffer forum, and if it is him he really does have a cross river puffer.

Cross river is a different puffer from a fahaka... but to answer your question, i agree it may turn out very bad for your ray... as i've read stories on puffers attacking a rays eyes thinking its a snail...

As for the Aro, that could also go either way, where the Aro could stress the puffer, or vice versa, so personally i wouldn't risk it, especially considering the price tag of most cross river puffers...

Thanks for the advise, my Puffer is a Cross River Puffer and look like need to get another tank for him. Too risky with my other fishes.
