Who knew keeping pet fish could be taken so serious by some people... The eliteness is hilarious

You have fun with your glass pacing fish, that, surprise, most fish (not just cichla) will do when bored, stressed, threatened etc. Puffers for example, will pace endlessly if not stimulated due to lack of entertainment or space restriction etc

Just go away that's all I'm saying

Just dropping in to troll. Never kept cichla; never want to either...

However, I have to say I am completely behind probassfisher, you are all extremely rude and eliteist.

Thanks :D

now, now,. lets all get along here now. I know, fish people, not just cichla, but ray keepers and cichlid keepers are all elitist in their own ways. fish people are just like that, very intolerant of others.

with that being said. most fish will run against the glass as they don't see the bounderies, whether begging for food, trying to get out, or ramming against it thinking they are going somewhere., all would be considered "stress" I guess, but not necessarily a bad stress. Like a dog that keeps jumping up and down a fence trying to get out...

Quote by probassfisher; By the way, what's with the elitist atitude when it comes to owning cichla? Why do you actually feel that your fish are better then any one else's?

I wouldn't say elitist, I would say passionate. I aslo agree if you haven't owned them you wouldn't understand. And how did you get the name probassfisher when you say you fly fish? I've never won a tourney with a May fly?

This whole thing is commical:ROFL:

All I meant to do was instead of compliment his fish (which apparently if you don't do, you're a troll?) and tell him his fish is not "playing." Something, could be anything, is stressing him out, not sure why I need to own cichla in order to reasonably come to that conclusion?

Next, not sure why you guys insist on calling me ma'm? Grow up

Gangster: I thought we were chill, but I guess not, and I've been spin fishing once this year just to get out, been fly fishing every day since the opener, but sorry guess I need to do it more often to please you or something?

Grant: thank you.

Hulon: I appreciate how you didn't instantly bash me, and maybe one day :).

As for the username, it's my YouTube and I've had it as an email for years, before I used to fly fish, no I'm not an actual professional bass fisherman, I just enjoy it, didn't know every name was taken so seriously.

Doin this from memory so I'm sure I'm not replying to some people, but I'm just glad that all this got so blown out of proportion over something so stupid.

Would you be concerned if you dog started to wear out its pads from jumping so much? Or would you call it playing? That's what was done here, and when I tried to tell them different, they call me a troll, fair right?
