Official car enthusiast thread.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
so i know there has been a couple of car threads floating around the lounge and im too lazy to go find em :D so i'll just start a new one. just a place were all you MFKers that are also car enthusiast to talk about cars, post pics, projects, etc. (please no posting on anything illegal like street racing as previous threads have been closed do to people bringing up and talking about certain topics.)

*also if you post pictures of your cars it would be nice to include any mods or any other information*

i'll start.

my car: 2003 Nissan 350z
mods: JWT intake and aftermarket wheels (Varrstoen Es2 18x9.5 +22 all around wrapped in 255/40F and 275/40R)
the cars also has 15% tint all windows except the front
future mods: lowering springs and possibly spacers for the rear for the wheels to sit more flush with the fender, CF air duct, and an exhaust. maybe a few other things but i havent made up my mind.

Cheers! hope you like the pic

Needs boost! VQ's respond well to positive manifold pressure :)

15s are fast in the quarter my daewoo went 18.4 last weekend at test and tune. I was thinking of removing the seats, hood, trunk, spare tire this weekend to break into 17s. I removed the exhaust straight from headers so its loud. Also ordered a 50 shot of NOS to inject into the plastic manifold with just drilling a hole. It's a badass ride everyone gives me thumbs up everywhere I go.

In the family we have a '02 Saab 9-3 SE 2.0T HO, a '01 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L, and a '05 Volvo V50 T5 AWD. All are stock - but would like some basic, inexpensive "quick-do's" that won't shorten the life of the vehicle. Any "real" input would be great. The majority of people say that K&N won't make much difference. Anything else ?
Also, what about those inexpensive "chips" on Ebay ? Are any good?
The Saab is mom's, so probably won't touch that one. The other two are mine - and I can do what I want.
