Very nice Sjoeerd but I do have a question. How exactly are you anchoring the 4 corners and the seam? Are you using some type of adhesive or clue before screwing them together? I am assuming you aren't totally relying on the screws. Also are the house walls the main supports for the sides?

Thanks. Yes, im using waterproof wood glue before screwing the corners together. The glue is the base of the bonding. When the glue is cured, the screws will have no more use. Just used them to pull the wood together.

And the walls are not the main support. Because of the walls the tanks cannot move sideways, but i will add some big wooden beams to keep the tank together and prevent from breaking.

At a later stadium i will also fill the corners of the inside of the tank with fibers and epoxy in order to make it stronger.

It only looks to be overlapping 20mm or so.....

Thanks for the concern, but the build will hold for sure, 100%. The pictures makes everything look smaller. The overlapping is 40 mm. Specially made a picture for you, haha. If i would see this build on pictures, i would also think i would collapse for sure.
At the top i will also add a hardwood frame of 120mm in the inside of the tank witch will provide the walls from bending.

The L brackets are dubble. Each can lift 70 kg. So totally 280 kg. The tricklefilters are 15 kg. each. So they should handle easy. But i had more comments on this, so i will be putting a beam in front from left to right witch will support the front, just to be sure. Will make that later this week.

Today i finished the front of the filter closet. Made of a few panels. All are removeble easily. And a little door to flush my beadfilter.
And tonight i machined out the second frame in the tank. Love my bedroom view

I love your ideas, and the viewing from the bedroom is just awesome! so are the filter setup, moving it out to get everything silent is a great idea. I gues thats why ? And space offcourse! Gl in the future, subscribed for sure!

The filter setup is indeed outside for the nose & space. But also to have all possible 'leaking parts' outside.

Today i added the beams to keep the walls stiff. The beams are 120 x 70 mm. The 120 is horizontal.
Really works. It's impossible to move the front back and forwards now.
