FISHING SEASON 2K12!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Some very nice eyes! Around here walleyes over 30 inches are wall hangers. Good work. :D

Nice catches flemming. Your weather is the exact opposite of ours. We are having the hottest summer in history and the driest summer since 1930's. We are close 12" less rain than normal and our highs have been over 100*F regularly. Its also made the fish very hard to catch and not active.

Thanks,Zander of these sizes are hard to catch here either so I'm really happy with this fish.

Sadly we are reminded of that each and every day thanks to the news.
Altough 100F regularly isn't perfect either I would happily switch to your current weather.
There's a heavy thunderstorm outside right now and Im just dying to see to sun and take me first dive in a swimmingpool.
You cant headout for fishing at night? Thats what I ussually do at extreme hot days, it seems to be a proper solution here.

Well I got the fishing stuff I wanted a new pole and a new reel for my bday but I had to wrap them and wait till my bday to use them....it sux

Fortunately, I do most of my fishing at night. However, I will definitely tell you that it only helps a little. I fish small rivers from the shore often and have to carry buckets of bait and my gear a long distance and the heat is still obvious. When I take the boat out, it is certainly not as bad. I agree with you though, I would take the heat over cold any day. I would not mind at all if you sent some of that rain this way though. That still amazes me that you get news from over here so frequently.

Nice LMB Kevin!

I have been headed out with my boat a lot the last couple of days and it's about time that I show some of the results from the last couple of days.
Weather in Holland still sucks and our weatherinstitute is telling us that we are headed to the coldest and wettest summer since 1912.
It's raining everday and most animals are still waiting for spring to start, it's really a strange summer with temperatures of 63F where 77F is common in July. These cold temperatures also have effected our fishing,Zander used to be the hardest fish to catch in the summer and pike to most easy but the script has changed and we are catching way more zander now then common. Even some whoppers at 28inch.
Pike needs a warmer watertemperature for a period of time to really get active and so there now harder to catch then usual.

Ireland is amazing for pikefishing,it's popular to go on fishingtours to ireland because of the high amount of what they call translated from dutch ''virgin pikes''(pikes that have never been caught before). I don't know anything about carpfishing there but I'f youre serious about targeting Carp and Wels it you could make the decision to headout to France or Spain instead of Germany. France and Spain are better known for Carp and Wells then Germany. Let us know when you're in Europe and show us the pics, and I'f your in Holland maybe we can headout and fish together!
