What will the the effect of feeding frozen food to our monster fish?
Usually when i feed mp or frozen fish, i usually thaw, or wash the mp or fish in running water until its no longer frozen before feeding to my fish,
but I have creasted a batch of food mix, and its takes a long time to drfrost, so sometimes I feed it to my arowana while a little frozen, What would be the its effect on monster fish?

I don't know about that. part of being cold blooded is needing to reach a certain temp for things to work properly. if you chill down the gastro-intestinal tract below the correct operating range you could end up with nutritional issues. there's also the possibility of defense mechanism's not functioning properly, opening the door for parasites and other foodbourne illnesses. It may also keep the food in the stomach longer giving more time for bad things to grow.

Yeah Gill Blue, it's undoubtedly better to thaw frozen foods. OP just drop the food in a cup of tank water and do something else for a while, better safe than sorry.

thanks, for my next batch of diy food, I'll have to add more Gelatine, as this first batch breaks up in the water when totally drfrosted :(

x2. particularly with small/thin or delicate fish.. large fish imo dont have much issue because of their larger masses holding their body temps more consistant. I hate eating frozen things myself, always chills me and sometimes makes my stomach feel sick.
