This is what I think... the gunman wanted to be a bad ass villain like how Bain is in the new Batman movie and this low life, no fame,nobody murderer wanted to try to seem bad-ass at a Batman Dark Knight movie opening. Trying to make a name for himself and become famous even at the expense of being a murderer. He wants people to talk about him like they are doing now. Glorified scum is all he is.
Sometimes this is what I hate about society and gun laws. For one instance if everyone where able to all carry guns the murderer would not be able to get away that easily with all the killing of unarmed defenseless people, but on the other hand if everybody can carry guns then there would be many shootings because of every macho american superiority complex and disrespects of other people and differences in culture and races. From past history and seeing how the world is evolving, society is turning more disrespectful and rude as the world gets more over populated and resources start diminishing. I see the world turning into like the Mad Max movies.
