Post your "GORILLUS" from UMBEE KING!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't see why they wouldn't be allowed to be imported. They're still classified as Caquetaia Umbriferus, and this is just a different variant. I suppose AUS Fish and Game would just need to know that they're "Caquetaia Umbriferus", the local isn't necessary... but I could be wrong.

How come they let normall umbees in,but not the black ones

Here are some updated pics of my Gorilla Blues:) Ive had them since the first week of may at 1" now my largest is 4" might even be bigger;)

If I remember right all cichlid importation is shut down. The fish they have there are all from stock from years ago. Greenterra explained it once but o don't remember the particulars.

Looking good jason! Mine are growing pretty quickly as well. May I ask what you are feeding them?

Thank you, Im feeding a combo of pellets and flakes i bought from Kensfish.com "best food for the best prices anywhere" twice a day with an addition of either krill, shrimp, talapia, bloodworms, or nitecrawlers with dinner;)
