im still around, my grandmother passed away 2 weeks ago, been busy with that and other stuff. this is from this morning, 9.83lbs
the sun has finally arrived in Holland!
I've been out on the water a lot lately and my recently bought boat is really proving to me that it wias worth buying.
The real pikefishing-season hasn't even started and I'm already on 12pikes and 6zander. Last year had only 3zanders in total but this year is just an excellent year to fish for zander and we catch zanders each time we go out fishing. I'm still waiting for the pics to be send to my email.
I will be out on the best water to fish for pike from tonight till wednesday. It's the same water we caught the 37incher this year and the three 40inch+ pikes in the last 2years. Hopefully I will catch another monsterpike in the days ahead of me!

Sounds great. The weather here has been very hot, 90 degrees nearly every day for the past 2-3 weeks. In some lakes the warm water temps cause low oxygen saturation for larger pike and muskies. I know a lot of musky guides are cancelling trips because the water is just too warm. It's not worth a handful of trips if the fish landed are not released alive.
Pike are pretty common around here. I think I put 6-7 pike in the boat just on saturday and a couple more on sunday. Nothing of size worth mentioning, biggest this year is only 30 inches, but this is all while trying to catch bass or walleye, not pike.
