thank you , and yeah if my jag and the cuban pair off that IS what i want since there are no cuban females anywhere i can find near me, and i am a big hybrid guy so having some jag x cubans wouldnt bother me at all , i have jag x cons , fh's, they would never be sold off as pure , what i cant keep or find a use for i will give some to the old man , or feed to something else
but thanks for the skinny on it is a standard looking male cuban that is what i was after i knew it wasnt a show stopper but i wanted to make sure it wasnt jacked up either,

i got him like 3 months ago someone didnt like him because he was beating up his other fish and his angels haha
so I scooped him up for free so the price was right.
there are so few people who are fish nerds like me on vancouver island that it is hard to get decent sa/ca cichlids especially big ones over here everything is in vancouver but it is a min of a 5 hour trip because of the ferry ride and a min of a $200 trip before buying any fish or its a $65 plane ticket for the fish so it sucks out here i am so jealous of your guy's ability to just grab some stuff up or order online in addition to living on vancouver island i live in the damn trees out here so the nearest lfs is like a min of a 45 min trip and they never have anything and when i order from my "guy " here it is always ALWAYS 2 inches and smaller .... weak thats why im not a huge purist lol and hybrids are okay in my book , christ if i waited for class A stuff out here i would have empty tanks
but i have a new tank coming and a pair of 8 inch doviis , so im pretty stoked on that managed to get a tank with a 36 inch bottom which i have wanted for a while and a pair of beasts so i can finally shut down some of my smaller stuff and crest the 200 gallon + mark all in one shot

i was wondering why mine had that sort of blank lower half and i see yours does too, i guess ts just the way they pattern , that was one of the main reasons i posted because i was trying to figure out why his patterning stopped
