So your saying only humans suffer? To have sentience does not mean you have to be super smart or build bridges. It just means you are able to perceive pain, happiness, etc. Your able to feel, this feeling is not exclusive to humans and there's millions of examples to prove that statement.

That you skimmed through quickly and summarily dismissed as you seem to have gotten nothing from it. Not asking you to change, that's on you, but you seem to want to wave away anything that disagrees with your beliefs when others on here were trying to have an open and honest discussion. That's ok too, don't get your panties in a bundle, but if you are so dead set against vegetarianism, why are you posting on this thread. You would be the first one bashing someone for interrupting your meat is great thread with talk of veggies. JUst curious as to why people need to bash others beliefs when it has no bearing on theirs.

I like meat and veggies together :D
My sis claims to be a veg , but eats fish. Not jokin , were always arguing when she says she is a veg.

Other side of the coin, check out paleoithic diet, my boss at work has been doing it for 6 months ans is now off of life long meds for past 2onths

I used to work for people who claimed to be vegetarian but ate fish. They said they were good because they didn't eat anything that had a face. Never did figure that one out, but they were crazy anyway.

No, I'm saying that by the definition of the word sentient, humans are the only know sentient animal. You are confusing that with the animal rights beliefs of the word sentient, which is an altered definition of the word. I believe that animals should not be treated with disrespect and that they should be cared for in the least cruel ways possible. But I am an omnivore, so that only goes so far.
