When a fish has long trailers does it mean something or it's just a good looking fish

I have two male dovii the same age one has trailers a lot longer and a lot more teeth so I was wondering if long trailers signifies anything

it just means that the fish is in good nic, and that it is nice and happy.
most in a community style setup will probably not have these as they will be easily attackable, whereas if you put a midas in its own 75gal just watch the trailers form!

A more dominant fish may sport longer trailors, but not always the case.
