Y a I wasn't going to buy it, i was just curious to its legitimacy and leucistic makes sense, just i've heard of tricks they pull in Asia on fish. Ya at 300+bucks ill wait for a time when they get to the US and when i have an Arapaimag style tank.

Hey Chris, I think the fish may be just as that seller from Thailand says.
To a quick glance, Pangasius sanitwongsei (Paroon shark, 100") http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=268 looks close to Pangasius larnaudii (One Spot Pangasius, 50") http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=1352 and perhaps to Pangasius bocourti (Basa Catfish, 50") http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=843.
I am not saying anything or claiming any expertise in ID-ying these sharks. The genus has been just revised BTW. I am saying there are look-alikes, so one needs to be careful.
It is definitely not an IDS.
I'd not expect babies to be. Stunting is a funny thing, it does not always work. For it to work with a higher degree of certainty, my understanding is that the fish should have almost no room to swim or even turn around much. Or maybe I am remembering the horrifying conditions of short-body productions?
There are degrees of stunting too. I guess, it'd be good to hear from the Paroon shark keepers.
