Marble or Pearl, which do you prefer?

In those pics I prefer the Pearl as it is a lovely ray, I have seen some wonderful pearls and arguably the best specimens in the country of both, I think a top quality pearl is as nice or maybe better than a top marble but onthe whole marbles are generally much nice than pearls.

For me there is nothing in it, I like them both exactly the same.
The trouble is there are more average Marbles and Pearls around than high quality specimens, top quality examples of both are right up there with your best black rays......That's my honest opinion.

I love quality black rays but I feel the ban from Brazil sent everyone crazy once they re-appeared, now I would say it is far easier to find a high quality black ray than it is to find high end Marbles and Pearls.

You are right, i agree. Wish i can sell marble and pearl the same price as my black rays.

Maybe you can, you just need to find the right people......

The availability of high quality Marbles and Pearls are null and void over here. The nicest Marbles I know of over here came from over there. I am unaware of ANYONE in the US with white/crocodile Pearls.

I'd gladly pay black ray money for a nice Marble and I know there's others over here that would too, but to put it simply we have NO reliable source for them.

Someone needs to help get Richards brown ray genes over here!!!!!
 
i prefer marbles over pearls BUT in the pictured rays, the pearl is hands down a nicer ray.
 
if i could pick i would chose the pearl..
the marble is a beautiful ray but the pearl is gorgeous...
