Help me stock my 400g fresh water tank

That tank is way to small for even one arapaima! They get over 10 feet. You need a huge pond for them. You should definitely get some pbass though. Your original stock looks like to much even for a 400 gallon. You might have to sell some atuff or keep it in the original thank. And btw, the tank is still too small for rays.

I know about the Pimas, I'm selling all of them.

My stock for the 400g is currently ONLY:
-Gold channel Cat
-Clown Knife
-(3) endi bichirs
-(3) regular bichirs
-Tiretrack Eel

How big of a tank you need for rays?

I think you could even add some pbass if you wanted to. I don't know about the rays, maybe 1,00 gallons, I don't know? :(

I want to add 2-3 Pbass and an arowana maybe 2.

I thought smaller rays like Retics are only 15" discs and would maybe fit.

I believe a single retic could work ok in this setup. 3' feet wide seems ok. From what I've read they need at least 2x the width of their entire disc which is like bare minimum for a small group. The only thing that concerns me is the 'bowfront' factor. Which means it can't be 3' wide everwhere? If its less than 30" in some areas I would say no go. But considering this I do know quite a few people keeping them in 360's and 320's for at least a few years so Id say if you bought them smaller then you should be ok for at least a year or two. But this isn't guaranteed or anything so just IMO.

Appreciate the advice. The tank bows from 24" to 36" so maybe Ill have to pass on the rays
 
Personnally, I actually house 2 stingrays (1 potamotrygon pearl female, and 1 potamotrygon motoro female) with 1 osteoglossum.

Those fishes are all superb, but too calm for me.

I will now sell them all and go for micropeltes...

I want really agressive fish, with hunting comportment.
