My first car after high school was a 1969 Camaro. I got it from the 1st owner and back then they were cheap. It was gold with black interior. Now they are way too expensive. I wish I still have it. That was my first and will always be my favorite.

I worked on a new camaro when I was doing performance auto work. Check out this engine bay. Yes that's carbon fiber heads. This car was decked.

Dang those are wicked engines!! My first mods will be to get it saftied first for insurance 
. It needs work! But not sure what i want to do first. I need smaller tires, I want a different hood carpets seats and steering wheel. But this is still my learning car so not sure what to do yet!!!

very nice! I got an 86 Camaro (Sport Coupe) for my first real car when I was 16...had it for like 14 years until I HAD to sell it (had to sell my Cobalt SS/SC also). At least I still have a part of it...put the 350 I built for it in the 87 p/u that I have right now when I built a 400 for it (have the steering wheel in the p/u too and still have the stock 305 from it). Now I rock a supercharged Regal...don't have any money to put into it to make it fast, but it still runs pretty well. Good luck with your new project! And don't let anyone tell you that "turd" gens are only for white trash people with mullets 
Nice rides people!! i think it runs great!!! i bought it outta town 45min away and drove it home! it needs lots of little things that we know of. Still need to get it inspected

Update on my camaro! Getting a windsheild replaced thursday, tightened my exhaust to the headers and bought new tires to replace the bald one. Should be able to pass safety now heres a start up vid!

I test drove the current Camaro and came close to buying one but I dont like the hideous dash/instrument layout.
