question on treating ICK with heat and salt

I have a 125 tank how much salt should I be putting into my tank I bought this Hydrometer and it is between
1.000 and 1.004 I currently have the tempature at 87

Temperature at 97% huh? You means 97 degrees? That's way too much. More like 86-88 degrees at the most. Surprised your fish aren't dead yet. Also you don't need a hygrometer just put a tablespoon per gallon. So 125 tablespoons is recommended for ich. I do a tablespoon per gallon with ich or not though.

sorry I ment 87 and I bought the meter to see how much salt I already have in the tank I dont want to over do it

I see. I don't know how much salt in a tank correlates to one of those. Someone else hopefully does.
