I am just asking if you can feed fish expired fish food or not? Or if you can and it is just unhealthy for your fish? Thank You

I don't think it's unhealthy but probably doesn't taste as good to them and it would certainly lose it's nutritional value.

Oh I see well I think I will get a few more opinions because I don't wanna feed and kill my oscar or make it sick etc.
Hmm seems right I am pretty bound on throwing it out I mean there is only a little left in it anyways.

I never, and I repeat, never, pay attention to the expiration date - Sometimes I will find some mold in pelletized food, which I separate from the good pellets - but I feed everything. regardless of age. Not one issue ever. The nutritional value might go down, but I feed such a wide range of foods, and mix it up, so that at any given time, they are not eating the same thing all the time, which is good practice, anyway. I also feed them leftovers from chicken / steak / fish, etc, dinners that may not be okay for us to eat - again, no problems at all. Keep in mind that they encounter similar things in nature.
Keeping good water quality is so much more important than worrying than a few pellets. If the food is bad, the fish know not to eat it.
