WORLDS SMALLEST SHARK - COMPATIBLE FOR NANO TANKS!!! MUST SEE pics included!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
8 gal nano? Really? Those sharks would need a 60g long, minimum, if they are in fact legit. Sharks need to swim.

I know you are just trying to help :)

"there's a critic in every crowd"

At first I thought they would need at least a 75, then I realized there was no chance of getting one :(

Excuse me, I meant 100g long.
O M F G !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bigglesworth, do you just post to get "controversial"? These games are just going to lead a newbie in the wrong direction.
I'm out.
Dude in that case oscars need a 180 minimum. I mean its a 6" fish. I know 3 people that have lived in a trailer home there whole lives thank you very much and lets just say their are quite happy by speculation. I am very well aware sharks are HUGE swimmers and that they acquire oxygen by swimming ALONE. Meaning if they ever stop swimming they die 0.0 But a 100gal long is nothing more than an extra foot and about 200x as tall as it needs to be. And OMG its 24" high thats just a complete waste. Quite frankly i think a mr. aqua 12 gallon long is PERFECT for this fish. its 3 feet long by 10" wide and 10" high. So about as big as a 40breeder but much less tall and wide.

Would you be happy in a trailer home?yeah it's suitable to live but cramped ..or would you live in a 2 story house with extra space ?bigger space = happy fish

Tell you the truth i would rather live in a trailer home. Its much cheaper so I can spend all my money on fish :). And a 2 story house is entirely unnecessary I think an apartment should suffice.

Deep sea animals cant survive the pressure change, and all but the Catshark inhabit the water column, and likely never see a surface in their life... being in a tank would probably stress the hell out of them haha

Creature report, creature report. CREATURE REPORT!

That was the cookie cutter. ;)

that they acquire oxygen by swimming...Meaning if they ever stop swimming they die

I think this was disproven. I remember seeing some vids of people flipping sharks upside down and they just go limp. It doesn't kill them. There was the one in the lounge bout a month ago about the chick who rubbed one on its nose and flipped it straight up and down. He just sat there and when she was done, he swam away. Minor point, but nevertheless...

And I'm assuming that if you put this thing is a 60 gal tank, he would not be alone...He would be a lot happier in a bigger tank though. Fish don't pay mortgages or electric bills, which accounts to a good chunk of our happiness. :)
