I have read some where why the females will obtain stripes but i forgot why can some one remind me. and i mean stripes like these

ya i got her beat up last friday on a rescue mission had to buy her but figured it was worth it and no way of being stressed this long and all the time. my big male JD protects her from everything supprised he does not just bring her food to eat lol
Jack Dempsey's don't wear stripes when stressed, they become pale & dull. Male JD's also carry the stripe pattern you're talking about, but females will have much darker stripes when ready to spawn. Your female seems to be comfortable in the tank the pics where taken and no need to worry.

ok maybe after i get back from vacation they will have spawned and things will go from there. she is getting fat full of eggs and i have been going wc every day to make them more comfortable so i will certainly post if the spawning happens

I agree, Mine will turn like that, When there are ready to breed as well.

In general terms, any such patterns are for evading enemies, attracting mates, or fooling prey. As ambush predators they'd need to be able to blend in with their surroundings. Fortunately for us, JDs must have evolved in some gorgeous surroundings.
I agree with other who say she looks fine. She would be all washed out and almost white looking if stressed.
