Festae are pretty colorful compared to most south American cichlids...you might want to look into another group (like rift lake cichlids) if you want better color.

Festae and Caquetia are pretty colorful big guy. Check out spectabilis and a mature umbee male, it doesn't get much more colorful than that.

pretty neat Severum color morphs available...I love earth eaters...just dive in and get a flowerhorn.

I would say earth eaters. Theres plenty of different kinds and some are really nice. Pelligrini I think are awesome looking.

Second the earth eaters, the lfs by me has some really cool ones right now. Also think about Green Terrors (Gold Saums). Lots of color on them also.
