Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I've been looking for something other than a fish for my aquariums. I have my 20 gallon grow out tank which houses an indonesian datnoid, bullhead catfish, columbian shark, bala shark, ID shark, redtail shark, dragon goby, pumpkinseed sunfish, and a peacock eel. Yes, I know that the columbian shark and dragon goby are brackish, but they are in freshwater until they are large enough for a larger, brackish tank, which I may or may not also add my Freshwater Moray to. Also in my 20 gallon I have a floating dock, where my Iberian Spanish Ribbed Newt is always on, and I also have an albino clawed frog. But I also will soon be upgrading to a 130 gallon freshwater which will house a 15" Pacu, a 10" Florida gar, a 15" Longnose gar, and if my 20" Freshwater moray eel continues to thrive in freshwater, that will also be added to the 130 gallon. I would like a turtle or something like that for the 130, preferably something easy to find, and affordable. As much as I'd love a Fly River Turtle.... it's out of the question. Maybe like a mud turtle or something, but I don't know what species and care. Please help!

The grow out is way over stocked to begin with, and your 130 is going to be small even to keep the pacu by itself. Therefore, I would suggest getting a "critter".

Sorry I didn't include the rest of this information...This probably won't make a difference but I just looked up the demensions of the tank and it does turn out to be a 30 gallon not a 20... but that doesn't really matter anyway. But I will be splitting up the fish in the very near future between the 30 and a 50 gallon, then, for the larger fish, to the 130 gallon. I plan on upgrading from the 130 gallon eventually too, probably to a 300 gallon or so. (You can pretty much get any size fish tank custom from my lfs) but not until the Pacu and Longnose Gar outgrow it. The 130 gallon I figured would be a good tank for the native fish such as the sunfish and bullhead and even the Florida gar when the Longnose and Pacu outgrow it. I really just want something to be in the 130 gallon with the pacu and gars until they outgrow it, even though they're cool fish, I really would like to get a turtle or something to take care of with them.

Maybe a crayfish, they come in a lot of different sizes and colors, you can order them online, even amazon and they are pretty affordable at lfs as far as my experience goes, I have a care guide on them on my YouTube channel, called Tim's Fish
