The "dirty fish water" Lol! it's darn near mandated that I take a shower after water changes,.I've caught myself eating without washing my hands after playing with fish. I hope I aint the onlly one...
Sometimes she gets a little tired of my obsession, but not of the fish. She does freak out a bit when I start talking about new tanks, but otherwise she is pretty supportive. I was very pleasantly surprised when we went to Ocean Blue in Anaheim on our Disneyland trip. She kept looking at the super-tall tanks (I think they were 5x2.5x3) saying how much she liked them - now I just need to find a truly monster corner tank (that's all I have room for in the house).
That's very funny! My wife is supportive to a point. As long as they are nice setups and I don't fill the house with tanks shes ok. I just picked up a 350 and that will pretty much do it for me as far as size goes, I have room for a small tank in my room for her favorites but otherwise i'm done. What I hate is when she brings home a fish for me and its something I don't like but feel like I should keep it so I don't hurt her feelings for doing something nice. This only happened once and I think she got the hint.
BF doesn't like it and says I can't have tons of tanks when we get a house together. He says I can have a 75 and be happy with that... But then what do I do with my 55?? lol. I'm working on him. He doesn't like the fact that all I talk about anymore is fish or the dudes on MFK. lol. The fish are nice to look at though.
I tried to buy him a fish to get him more involved but he just looked at me like I was stupid. I meant well...
