Cali-Budfish - nice fh's as well. The coloration on the one in back is brilliant bro! But 120 for an 1 and a halfer?!?!?! that's insane dude...

Yeah but as soon as a quality flowerhorn shows up in my area it's gone within a day or two. It was purchased from Thailand. The owner miss quoted it at that price it was actually supposed to be 150! The next day the other one sold for 150. I would have paid 200 after having him all this time he's awesome.

So basically the only true difference between prize FH's (besides their humpyheads) I'm guessing is there color quality.....I've also read that some look good as fry but then they may peel? I wish I knew the breeder my LFS was buying from.
But my guy should be in by this coming Tuesday!!! I'm extremely excited and I will be posting pics asap.
Do these guys grow as rapidly as Jags???

Never had a jag but they grow pretty dam fast. Feed em well and lots of water changes get them bigger faster. Mine kinda has growth spurts. Tryin to get him to do his thing with his faded lady right now. Just starting to see her tube dropping. And if you see a fish that you have to have cuz it's the one, you'll pay for it believe me.

FH888 - They didn't specify what size. I told them I preferred it to be 1"-3.5" b/c I rather grow it out myself and admire all of it's changes. Secondly they also didn't give me a price......
