Tank heat

Get another thermometer and also try lids on the tank to retain temp better. With how warm it is now I have to open the top of my one tank because it gets too warm.

I do have one more but I checked the temp on my digi and it says 78 now soaybe it's slowly rising. My arowana ate today. And as for lids I have some and a canopy haha.

Man temp fluctuations like that cause major stress so you need to figure it out, sell all three heaters and buy a inline hydor that is accurate or go buy a real thermometer, radio shack has infared cooking thermometers and their accurate down to .1 of a degree!

No no it didnt go from 74 to 85 aha it was probably at 83-85 the whole time just my thermometer was broken :/ and how much are those infrared??

Sweet, their Like 20$ but portable and I use it for everything, cooking, aquariums, general house temp,ac, etc. It's just accurate that's all, plus when I refill water into the tank I can point it at the stream and get a perfect reading to match tank temp thus minimizing stress.
