Everyone always asks how fast a pbass can grow in the first year, but what is the growth rate for year 1, 2, and 3 for these species:
C. ocellaris
C. orinocencis
C. monoculus

Please anyone with experience with peacock bass from 12-24" please input! I'm probably going to get these species at 2-3" and I want to know how long I can keep them.

Expect the three bass mention will grow to 12-14" in the first year and drastically slow down. Ocells and monos can grow past the the 24" in a couple years (given the proper housing, food and regular water changes. ) orinos take a little longer to reach 24", about 3 years or so. But, this growth rate depends on how well you take care of your bass.

I'm housing them in a 55 for a little bit as a grow out till they hit like 10". Than moving them to a 90 gallon till their 12-14". I think because of the 12" wide 55 gallon it really restricts the fish length.

What's their 2 year growth rate?
