Lol. Sorry I just figured it out all the sudden. Water Change.. once a week is great. If you see a load issue or stuff on the bottom maybe do an extra.

56 gallon, 3 retics, 1 florida gar 50% 2x a week. I'm plumbing a 120 today. lil' buggers grew fast!

Test for nitrates and do your w/c's accordingly. I do a 160 gallon daily w/c on my ray-arowana tank, it would be nice to have a drip system on it to free up the 1.5 hours every day spent doing the water change. I really don't understand how you guys get away with the weekly w/c's. my nitrates would be through the roof if I only did 1 a week.

That is very weird... what size tank do you have....sounds like a big tank if you are doing 160 gallon water changes.
Are you overstock or something do you have like a really weak filter?

I'm just so confused lol, I would hate to do that... my 50 gallon tank with cichlids hasn't had a water change in a year and the water parameters are great lol

I very much doubt that, just cuz all ur fish aren't dead doesn't mean their healthy. Id guess that their stunted beyond belief. Pics?

Unless u have a tank full of plants , even then hard to believe.
