Hi all,

So I travel a bit and always worry about my tank. Can anyone recommend a good monitoring system? The one that notifies you via a smart phone app if something goes wrong such as power failure etc.

Thanks

I'm running the Aquatronica Monitoring System and have found it to be very reliable and accurate.
I can connect to it via a web page whenever I'm away and can set it up to e-mail me daily reports and alarms that may have been triggered....

Can those who post options also post a ball park figure of what a basic system would cost? It seems the prices I'm finding on these are awfully expensive. There must be something that is a little more reasonable for this sort of thing as it's not overly complex.

I see several online with different prices. I'm simply looking for one to email/text me when: power goes out, temp is out of range and monitor other basic water parameters.

The apex jr seems decent just don't know if it will suffice???

Picked up the Apex Jr after some research and deliberation. Should be here in a few days. I'll do a write up after I have some experience using it.

I have an Apex on my system and love it. The options for configuration are endless. There is a vendor forum over on reefcentral where you can get lots of support for any questions you may have.
