Hey guys check this pic one of my RBP. It has think wide scratch marks on one side of its body. At first it was small so I didnt really care but after today it was much longer and covering more of its body. Should I be worried of it being some kind of disease or health issue? The water temp has been rising due to the weather, and it is at about 85-86F. They are more aggressive with each other especially fighting and stuff....maybe trying to determine pecking order or what not. But I just curious if I should be worried and if it is a problem, what should I do? I also posted this on the disease section of the forum. thanks guys!

there is no pleco just a catfish that gets jacked up. i have Just a 80G with 11 nats... They been attacking each other more aggresive either becuz of the temp rising or they are getting comfortable to the tank and determining pecking order ? Who can possible suck on a RBP? Mine are freakishly skiddish and the catfish knows better than to suck on one of the nats... Could it be that it can scratch itself from the sand or running into objects such as sand, filter parts, heater, or the air stone?

Damn socal weather.. f*ing up the water temp and making them all grumpy! >.< I'm gambling by keeping the lids off so the tank can cool down tonight.. Well, I'm relieved that its nothing that serious.. thank god!

No, that one has the largest scratch size... few others just have a spot of it here and there on the body... The previous owner pretty much fed stuff like chicken and basically feeders... I want them to now eat whitefish, shrimp, and pellets. I tried to feed diced shrimp, but some one them ate a bite and left basically 3/4 of it alone.. Its been about 12 hours now since I attempted the shrimps. Should i wait till the morning( PACIFIC TIME ) to feed or should i try again right now ?
