i dont know, it always has its lateral line. i think it will have to be hand fed though. id remove the flowerhorn .
 
I had my 13" BGK eat my 6" bichirs eye and nostrils but now she doing fine and eat just fine too
 
I know this is a bit late, but if the Bichir's still around, he should be just fine. I've seen completely blind bichirs living perfectly happy lives since they don't use their sight much for finding food to begin with.
 
I think it's with a few other fish. Lol

over stock so its curbs aggression so itsnot just one getting picked on ? How do you think my flower horn would go with a clown knife a alligator gar a motoro ray?
 
Overstocked. No just a heck lot of water. 600 gallons and 50 smaller fish is not overstocked. Still got lots and lots of room. I guess she is an exception or something use to be in a 55 with other fish a 120 with other fish. Lived alone for a good while also. She is just another good looking fish in the tank.
