OMG! EGGS! EGGS! EGGS! EGGS!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING 0.0!! When I saw the eggs the german ram was hovering over it. I assumed it was his eggs. What if its NOT His eggs? My julii corys LOVE this spot. They were swimming here 24/7 today. At the same time the female german ram has had a swollen 'berried' pinkish belly the past few days up in till now. My discus have also been more agressive than usual lately. It could be them too...:confused:

Omg! Will they survive in a 100g planted community setup???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Tankmates include but are not limited to (too many different fish, prolly forgot a few)

Silver hatchetfish
African dwarf frogs (not clawed)
discus
Bushynose plecos
Furcata rainbowfish
Killifish sp?
Otocinclus
Dwarf shrimps
Definitely forgetting some fish here... I'm thinking the biggest egg threats would be the killifish, frogs, plecos, hatchetfish maybe?, and discus

Yea add 1 dwarf gourami to that list I forgot about him.

Oh I should also mention I just got a huge adult male bushynose pleco recently. Within the past few days. I have a few females about 1/3 his size and sexually mature. They could be the eggs? Although the male was on the opposite side of the tank and this is by no means a cave. Its in plain view.

Cories scatter eggs. So if it's a neat nest it isn't them.

Plecs usually spawn in caves so I doubt its them.

Discus tend to spawn on near vertical surfaces so if its flat I doubt its them.

They most likely belong to the rams. But they are reknown as bad parents in species only tanks. So I wouldn't think there will be any fry, especially in this com tank.

Finally, is that your 12" Bristlenose?

Yea but he's NOT 12". Lol, it was an extreme overstatement on my part. I even asked my mom and she says around 5".

I'm sorry, but I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt.
I don't know if you're serious with this or any threads you've opened lately.
Maybe if you posted a real picture/video & act more mature when members are trying to help you, instead of questioning advice. But you make jokes about not knowing who spawned & act like it's a game when it's not.
Grow up kid!!!

Your first sentence makes no sense. Your second doesn't either and why would you need to be sorry? I don't care if you believe me or not. I'm not going to go out of my way at just past 1am and take pictures which would need flash btw cuz its dark. Scare the crap out of ALL my fish just because people can't wait 12 hours for my lights to turn on. I seriously don't know what you mean with the maturity and the help and all that. Its not like I'm being rude or anything. Jokes? Perhaps, or I'm just excited about my fish time seeing eggs. I can understand, yeah you've done it a million times ahh yawn boring, but not to me. Sure I've done guppies years ago but I never saw the fry or anything. And its different with eggs imo. Game? Perhaps you have perceived it as such but oh contrary I take it very seriously. :).

I'm curious, what do you define as a 'real' picture? Looks pretty real to me. Albeit damn blurry.

1st sentence... ( I'm sorry, but I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. )
My first post here, I said congrats & answered your obvious question about fry surviving. So I gave you the benefit of being honest.
Second sentence... ( I don't know if you're serious with this or any threads you've opened lately. )
It's pretty clear- You're one member that says a lot of dumb things, so it's hard to know if you're serious. (Example) - You saying how rich your parents are paying thousands of dollars for an electric bill.
Also, you where given advice on what to do with the eggs to save the spawn if it was successful. But after that advice you said you didn't even know who's eggs they where. I can't believe Chris tried to help you even further by telling you to Look for extended breeding tubes. Then you just continued to talk nonsense about the size of your fish & the other occupants.

So many members tried to help you & you just babbled on & I could care less what you think about me, but you really need to Grow UP.
