Hello everyone,

Just got 3 Channa Bleheri around 13 cm ! At night I'm gonna post few pics of them.

First of all, I would like to know what the parameters to keep this fish and make them breed.

Tank of 200 L (100x40x50), Temp. 25 ºC, 6.2 pH, some wood and lot of plants. Am I right ?

If don't, please, tell me what I should have to reach my objetive ;D

Oooo, Do I need a more Channas ? Like 6 or 7 ?

Tks Guys !!!!

Tank size should is good; PH is good; lots of wood and plants is good.
You'd want 6-7 fish for better chances of forming a pair. The only problem I could see is it might not get cold enough in Brazil for Bleheri's winter months.

Here are some pics...

- Water temp ?
- High and Low Temps ? When ?
- Ilumination ?
- Any kind of plants or some special ?
- Water with or without flowing ?

Thanks guys ! ;D Hope I could keep them for a long time ! And with luck, breed too !

18-19C in the cold months is good (low temp for about 3 months of the year). 25-26C in the hot months. They also like low lighting; maybe add some duckweed or frogbit for floating plants so it's not so bright. The water should be slow flowing, almost still.
Make sure not to feed too much. They eat whenever they can and get fat really easy. When the temp is cold, only feed 1-2x each month. Watch the stomach to make sure they don't get fat.

Really nice photos.
