Ok so I have a ac110 and an fx5 running... I have put the fx5 INTAKE a foot in from the left side and the hang on back ac110 beside it. With the fx5 return over in the far right side... I seem to have good movement in all parts of the tank just curious how you guys would set up...

Hilarious doodle to show you whati m talking about included

Iwould set up the INTAKES on opposite sides of the tank

+1. Your intakes are too close to each other. I would put the AC 110 on the left side of that drawing because it's intake is on the left. Then I would put the FX5 on the right side with the output nozzle in the middle. Have the nozzles pointing down towards the filter intake or get a powerhead so that there is water current blowing waste towards the filter intake.

i dont think any config would make much difference but i'd place the HOB in the middle to maximized water movement.

Ok so here is the NEW set up.... Just did this.... Ive noticed alot of returned in the middle what way would I face them ? Straight out ? I have them going down the back of the tank and to the front right of the tank now... here is another quick sketchy
