Not really different fish but I have a pair of marbled cons and a pair of fire mouths with some .25"-.5" marbled con fry from different parents. My tank is heavily planted and has lots of rocks with crevices and I have yet to see a fry get eaten. They actually don't even pay attention to them. They prefer nls and some frozen food.

Fun to see what everyone has, but I think some of you guys have just been lucky so far! Especially when dealing with the big cats. Best wishes to all and hopefully you won't have any mysterious disappearances in the future :)

A friend of mine has for the past six months kept a silver aro with baby koi, a giant common plec, two bn plecs and a betta. No issues in that tank at all. Its freakin weird lol

I had three Congo Tetras that my LFS didn't want to take back so I put them in my Cichlid tank as feeders. They've survived a 8" Flowerhorn, a 9" Texas Cichlid, and a 6" Texas Cichild x Blood Parrot without getting roughed up or eaten.

It only took me a couple of weeks of having a 10 gallon to decide I needed something far bigger and purchase a 120. Since the store wouldn't take them back I put my initial stock of 2 Paradise fish, an angel, a baby Bala and a Betta in the new tank with 2 Oscars, 8 Malawis a large common plec and a Green Terror. While the Betta regretted his decision to go nose to nose with a 7 inch Oscar, the Paradise, Bala and Angel are still going strong, despite being an easy single bite meal.
