I've always been partial to the albinos and pieds, but that's one mean looking ball!

Thanks :D

Op: have fun with your pet rock

Lol they only selective breed them to make money on the more colourful and strange looking ones i suppose, the prices are insane for some of the morphs!!! who knows i may try and breed them to sell on

Hes not exactly a rock always out having a look at his new surroundings :)

Ive heard alot of people laughing at royals being simply rocks and boring. Its all personality and I own many that are more active than other species that ive owned(milksnakes, corns etc)

Its true, some morphs have bad characteristics attached to them such as spider's head wobble. Most morphs dont have negative health characteristics and are far from mutant retards. Ive also heard people say that morphs are all inbred, but many morphs are dominant color traits that can be attained by breeding them to any other royal, so they are far from just inbred. Currently I have normals, ghosts, spiders, lemon pastels, butters, pinstripes and mojaves. Breeding them is fun, hope you look into it more

i have a normal. He was great at first, active all the time. eventually they turn into pet rocks. i have never heard of anyone who has had a bp for a long time and the snakes continue to be active

haha some can be a lil unfriendly, though they are much more docile than many species. Sometimes they just get in bad moods and dont want to be touched that day

haha come meet my full grown female and i dont think she will say that...

how big is she?? what is the max length for a male?? i take it females are more aggresive??

Ahh thats good then :) quick question whats an appropriate sized vivarium for a fully grown male?? i am looking at 40 x 18 x 18 is that enough room, as i know they dont like huge vivariums because they like to feel secure

That should do for a full grown male. Its nice to allow them to be able to stretch out if they wish, but they would much prefer to be able to feel secure. Too much space can actually be a bad thing and cause stress. Full grown, your looking at maybe a 6 foot snake around 2,500-3,000 grams, although I have seen fat ones over 4,000(probably big females). I like 55 g or 40 gal breeders, but even a 30 gal could work. Food for thought, it is easier to maintain ideal conditions in containers other than normal glass aquariums. Specifically, ideal humidity is typically the most challenging to maintain, but royals are not as difficult as most species.
