that's how you get good-by bringing in talent and letting them compete.Did you assume that Tavaris was all that or flynn.Why not bring in one of the top rated qbs in college,especially when nobody else wants him.I bet s.f. wishes they did.The seahawks look real good btw.they will challenge th49ers and maybe win the div....so what your really sayin is Pete Carrol is a qb guru,like shanny is a rb guru.message decoded!

I hear they are trading Tavris right now to buffalo
 
HDid I assume Flynn was all that? Ummm, when you pay someone starters money, you should be banking on them being starters. When you trade draft picks to bring in someone, I'd like to think you believe in them. Otherwise why'd you mortgage your future? It's illogical in today's world with the type of scouting we have to not know what directions we wanna go.

Wilson was not a great or hot college QB either. Never in the heisman runnings. No national titles. No stand out stats. He was good, not great. Ive got no prob with going with him but they lack direction. You can't change the voice in the huddle yearly and have your team buy into them as leader. Carrol is a moron. Nuff said

Or maybe Carroll is now finding out that all they did was pay way too much for nothing more then a second string QB
 
According to NFL network Carrol has announced that Wilson is Seattles starting QB for Season opener.

Amazing that 10 starting QBs on opening day are either rookies or 2nd year players.

exactly,just like az.The thing is,you don't know w these guys because of limited game exp and the fact they were on really good teams made them seem better,because they're team made them look good.so if you don't have the guy,bring more in,eventually you get the guy.

225 309 72.8 3175 10.3 11.8 33 4 191.8 -these are outstanding #s in my opinion.Wilsons sr season-if size is a factor,then he is the best if he can put up these #s at his height.Carroll is not lost,he has found his man

Just trying to think of where signing a backup QB has worked, can't think of any recently. All pretty much failures or very limited success.
