My Paint Turtle Shed His Shell in one perfect piece.... cool for me because i have never seen them do this before..... nice to save.. don't worry he has a new shell now..

Any other updates on the two? I remember when you found them as babies.

I also found two turtles a couple of years ago. They were the size of a quarter, one is an eastern painted the other is a red eared slider. Both are about 7" now. I see them shead scoots but never the whole shell, I didn't even know that was possibile. What does it look like afterwards? That's wild never saw that.

i only have the one now... they were fighting so i had to separate them... then a friend took one home...and so far that one is doing well too... i will try to post a couple of pics of her today..

brighter and cleaner looking.. this old shed "shell" looked darker in pic then it actually is... because it was still wet.. i am letting it dry out and i will frame it..
