He's from TUIC, Rapps and about 3-3.5" Already all over and not timid at all like I had anticipated. Eating pellets and Bworms within an hour of adding him. Would like to see some pics of some of your adult Chocolates. Thanks!

Back when I had him. He was around 4" raised from 1" then I sold him....

Here's a breeding pair guarding fry. They do eat like pigs once they overcome their "shyness" and feel comfortable in their surroundings.
Theyre beautiful. I hope mine take your colorings. We'll see as he grows. How old are they?

Here's mine. Bought him at 2" about 2 months ago, and he's definitely over 4" now, and eats more than any of my other cichlids. So not really slow growers, unless mine is an exception. He watches the surface a lot, waiting for insects, which is really cool. He ate about a dozen small crickets last time I put some in the tank.
