I have tanks at home to take care of. You would think that would be enough. Except that a lfs had bettas for a 1.00 and I got the bright idea of putting one in my office at work. Now my coworkers know that I am fishcrazy. Between the screensaver and "Jack" living in a large vase on my desk, the hobby has finally crossed over into my work as well as home. Anyone else keeping fish at home and work? Does everyone you work and live with think that you are nuts too?

I keep fish at home and work as well. I am a biology teacher so I consider the fish at my house my fish and the fish in the classroom the classes fish.

i work in a factory so i cant have them there but all my coworkers know im a fishnut lol i cant stop myself most of the time about talking about something my fish did or a new fish i got lol

I have a family restaurant and the fish tank is a major attraction especially for kids... And I have tanks at home... I switch the fishes every six months or so from home to the restaurant to break the monotonous of people seeing the same fish every time... Although I don't live there anymore my brother takes care of them and I visit them often.. While I have a small grow out where I am based now :)

I think it's great to have fish at your workplace, as long as ur wrk is productive ;)

I have a 300G with a Common snapping turtle in the entryway of my school. Kids love her, as does our secretary. I am in the process of setting up a 6' tank in my classroom as well (I teach 4th grade at a small rural K-8).

That is a great way of educating kids on the hobby.... Also I have noticed kids get more excited about monster fishes... I think haha we all do ;)

6 tanks at home and over 100 at work.
I work at a LFS. I crossed that line long ago.

I can't do any filters and stuff in my office. Not enough plugs. I'm already thinking in terms of a power strip and a 10 set up on top of my refridgerator. Better quit thinking... gets me in trouble sometimes.

I suppose there is a rule about animals where I work too, but it's not like I brought a dog or cat to work. The coworkers can make it a zoo around here sometimes, though. I think half of them belong on the psych floor and just don't know it.

i think as long as your not over doing it will be alright after all you dont want your co-worker doing the same thing (maybe not with fish but other stuff maybe) that eventually going too far and getting out of hand, which might all lead back to you being blame.

its not weird, for i had kept a 90g at my workplace till some jerk crack it.
