That's what I was thinking. This was an open tank / pool attraction, and no signs about him anywhere. In a different spot of the zoo there is a sign for occelaris but none actually in that enclosure.

He was house with these black fish that had to be 3 feet long. They were huge. Plenty of smaller fish in there that he probably eats lol

Considering a bird enclosure pool , that guy must be very healthy to ward off salmonella and what not.
Do you think that pool is filtered ?

Has to be. The water was crystal clear and there were a lot of fish in it, including a few really cool rays. There was a very large grate type thing at the bottom in 2 different spots im assuming was part of the filtration

I agree. I went to the aquarium in Tampa and even with how huge it was there, there were none in the whole place
