i have been trying to get her to buy my 75gal and she wont cause her mom said no. so everything i have said is true. not toention her floor couldnt hold a 125 or a 180gal.

And of course I didn't mean tomorrow! Duh! I need a house and a bigger tank and I wouldn't get something like a ray without at least as much research as I put into the eel I want. Lol.

My mom would kill me if I brought home a ray with appropriate tank. She might even kick me out! Lol. On the bright side, I think I'm startin to open her up to the idea of swapping the 55 for a 75. It's progress....

kelly like i said in the text it is a matter of life or death see will open up to the idea. ad fyi your floor will not hold the weight of a ray appropriate tank.

Actually... I've been doing the math... Will my floor hold up the weight of the 75 with sump? I'm getting a ballpark figure of 1500 pounds, tank, stand, and 29 gal sump.

ok....Now to get an unbiased opinion... lol, just kidding! I think the 55 is sagging on the one side though. One side seems to fill up a half inch higher than the other....lol


Anyway....back to the Mr Ray updates....lol

Might want to level that, some shims will work under the tank itself, next time u change water it will be easier to level tank, if u don't have a level u can eye it just by looking at all 4 sides. Use the front as a guide as well as right side, it the water level is level on each its perfect.

Scott said the same thing when I got it, F1. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. lol. I'm hoping in the next couple of months to have the 75 in there. Mike is being a poop (even though he's got good points) but my mom is open to the idea. lol. She's not liking the fact that I want a 75 mostly for an eel but hey, whatever...And who knows, maybe we'll be moving in the next couple of months (if I ever get my job.........) and It'll get thrown on the back burner.

How is the little ray doing, Scott? I've totally hijacked your thread...again... *cackles maniacally into the night* Its ok, you can go post ray updates in my sump thread if you want. lol.
