Wow what a big old stunning looking Firemouth you have there! Please keep posting pics of him :) So how big do you actually recon he is (body length) ?
 
For body length, between 4.5-5"; Gonna get the good camera out to see if I can get some better pics. I took the other ones I posted with my phone and they just don't do his coloration justice.
 
Its fish like this that so inspires me to keep Firemouths! :clap

Yeah thats often the case... A decent camera always shows up all the best colors :)

What Kind of camera do you have... Mines A Nikon D80 and the colors always show to their best with that camera.

Sweet video...thinking of picking up a couple firemouths to go with the new guy but most stores around me don't carry them.

I have a Nikon Rebel Camera....got it out last night but need to charge the battery.
 
Yeah a couple of decent sized females with that guy would certainly get him excitable and flaring his gill membranes... Maybe even get him to spawn.

What sized tank are you keeping him in?
