Do p.bass get darker when they eat?

So my p.bass were sleeping and i turn on my light on.my bass color were super light so i feed them some feeders and after they were done there colors boost up all sick..they when from realy light to amazing colors...is this normal

It's totally normal. When fish get excited their colors change. My orinos darken up when they chase each other.

Stress excitement ect, Anything can make a pbass change it's colors from dark to pale... Just as with all fish. My dominant pbass usually always have dark colors an the more shy ones are lighter when I come close to the tank it's totally normal

Ive noticed their color is a bit more pale when they are asleep at night. Then after turning on the lights, it takes a few minutes for them to wake up and darken up.
