My Red Devil killed my smaller Tiger Oscar :(

I went upstairs to find out that my Red Devil murdered my younger Tiger Oscar. Now he is chasing around my bigger one that is equal in size! I should have gotten an Albino Tiger instead of this demon fish!
 
Dude, what you expect from a red devil? It's his nature...
 
This not shocking news.What size cell,er I mean,tank are they in?
 
They are in a 55 gallon for now. Both fish are around 5". Upgrading to a 125-150 in the near future.

Well you have to make a tough decison: get rid of oscars or get rid of red devil. IMO I would get rid of the red devil as they love to kill their tankmates.
 
oscars get their asses kicked by tougher cichlids, but they beat the crap out of less tough cichlids. tbh unless you keep peaceful cichlid species youre always going to have this problem. it's why I stopped keeping them.

Yes.Red Devil are very territorial and the bigger yours grows the more space it will claim.
