Rear wheel drive car owners, advice sought!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yes, Lo4 is Lo 4 without a space.
and that has best traction for ice , hills, and worst conditions in general. very safe. sometimes I have to use it to climb my driveway in winter. Lol.
we are at over 4000 ft elevation.

If you want something that will handle the snow, buy a Subaru. I'm on my third Subaru and I wouldn't consider anything else. Where we live we have a foot to two feet of snow every winter and when it gets bad the only cars you see are Subarus and full size trucks/SUVs. I used to drive a full size chevy with posi-traction and a locking front differential. A truck will push a little more snow, but a Subaru handles much better in the ice. A Charger is a sweet car, but it is much better off in the garage for the winter...

I had a 2006 Chrysler 300 for 5 years. The OE tires were terrible in the winter, but after I got some decent tires I didn't have any trouble in the snow. It didn't have traction control on it. If you encounter much ice getting a set of winter tires will be worth it.

If you are settled on the Charger, simply get the AWD version. I'm not sure why nobody else has mentioned this.

To the 300 owner - how did you like the car? Was it the 3.5 H O ? AWD ? Issues? Pros and Cons?
