what did you use to coat the inside of your tank? kinda curious of the red coloring on it. just wondering im thinking about guilding a 300 gallon tank for SA cichlids
It is a product from Home Depot called red gard. However it turns pink when covered in water so I will be making a background for the tank from styrofoam and cement.

Nice build. How much does Red Gard cost and how much did you use? How much did your build cost? Sorry for so many questions.
I used about 2 gallons of redgard and I believe it is $45 per gallon

Redgard: $90
Fiberglass: $10
Glass: $170
2x4s: $22
55 gallon (for sump): $30 off CL
Silicone: $30
Paint rollers: $5
And there's still more I need to buy like
Pump: around $100
Baffles: $30
Bio media: $20
PVC overflows: not sure
Cement: about $3
Styrofoam: around $20
